Everys Announces Largest Round of Partner Appointments

Ten Partners Join the LLP

Everys Solicitors have announced their largest-ever round of partner appointments and welcomed ten partners to the Limited Liability Partnership (LLP). Their appointments took effect on 1st October 2022 and reflect the firm’s long-term growth strategy and commitment to rewarding excellence.

The partners were drawn from all practice areas, as well as Marketing, and their appointments recognise the dedication and contributions they have made to the firm’s ongoing success. Three of the partners were existing partners of the previous partnership and have now transferred to the LLP.

James Griffin, Managing Partner, said, “These appointments are a milestone event, not only for the partners, but also for the firm, and show our commitment to developing strong leadership and bringing on excellent talent that will ensure the firm continues to thrive well into the future.”

The partners are:

Gay Cherryson, Head of Litigation, who joined Everys in 2002 and is an existing partner of the firm. She specialises in complex Will and Estate disputes as well as high-value Personal Injury claims;

Kathy Trist, Head of Property & Commercial Litigation, who joined the firm in 2018 and deals with all types of property disputes as well as commercial contractual disputes. Kathy is an accredited Civil Mediator;

Moira Reynolds, Head of Family, who joined in 2020. She is a member of Resolution, the national organisation for Family lawyers, and advises on all aspects of relationship breakdown. She is an existing partner;

Charlotte Thomas-Collins, Head of Private Client, who joined in 2019 and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Charlotte’s expertise lies in Elderly and Vulnerable Care, Tax, Trusts and Succession, and Trust Creation and Administration;

Joan Pullin, Private Client, who joined the firm in 2018 and is a member of STEP. Joan acts for clients on a variety of Private Client matters including Wills, and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and also acts for executors in relation to Estate Administration;

Anna Manning, Head of Residential Property, who joined in 2021 and deals with all areas of residential property, including new builds, leaseholds, unregistered land, and transfers of part;

Charlotte Pickford, Residential Property, who joined in 2020 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX). Charlotte advises on all matters of residential property including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity;

Karen Bozorgpour, Head of Marketing & Business Development, who joined the firm in 2018 and is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, plans and campaigns;

James Cleveland, Head of Commercial, who joined during the first lockdown in 2020 and is an existing partner. He specialises in development and strategic land and acts for residential developers and landowners; he is also an expert on a range of commercial property matters; and

Jo Knight, Commercial, who joined Everys in 2010 having previously worked for a large investment bank in London. Jo specialises in commercial and property work including easements, options, conditional contracts, and commercial developments.
