Anna is a Senior Associate in our Residential Property team. She joined Everys in 2021 having previously practised as a property law solicitor in Devon and Somerset for over 15 years. She works from both our Taunton and Honiton offices and is happy to meet with clients in whichever location is most convenient for them.
Anna has a broad range of experience in all aspects of residential property, including new build, leasehold, unregistered land and transfers of part. She works for a wide array of clients, from first time buyers or buy to let investors to those buying a substantial forever home. She understands the stress of buying and selling property and will work to make the whole process as stress free and smooth as possible.
Tracy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, having qualified in 1998. Initially specialising in Civil Litigation, Tracy transferred to property in 2002 and has built up an extensive knowledge in the field over her many years in practice. She works alongside Everys as a self-employed Consultant.
Tracy deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. She is known for her attention to detail, proactive approach and friendly, approachable manner. Tracy is frequently re-instructed by satisfied clients and recommended to others.
Working very closely with her clients, Tracy keeps them fully updated throughout the whole process providing clear, pragmatic advice and communicating regularly with others involved in the transaction to ensure that the process is as seamless and stress-free as possible.
Tracy has worked for many years in the Exeter/East Devon area and therefore has a good local knowledge of the area.
Jo Barrett is a Conveyancing Executive based in the Honiton office who specialises in residential sales and purchases. Jo deals with a lot of probate sales and acts for clients in the sales and purchases of park homes.
Jo joined Everys in 2015 having previously worked in an Exeter firm for almost ten years.
Jo likes to build a good rapport with the local estate agents and aims to make the conveyancing process for the clients as stress-free as possible, maintaining a friendly and approachable manner throughout.
In her spare time Jo likes walking, baking and days out with her family.
Charlotte Marsh is a Conveyancing Executive in our Seaton office. She joined the firm in February 2021 having previously worked at an Exeter-based firm for nearly 10 years.
Charlotte has a range of property experience with both freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including new build properties, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. She is also familiar with the Help to Buy scheme and the set-up of new build estates including Cranbrook.
Sarah Bell is a Residential Conveyancer in the Sidmouth office, working closely alongside Clare Stanbury.
Sarah has been at Everys since 2008, starting as an Office Assistant at the Honiton branch before moving to work in Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth in a variety of roles in the Conveyancing team. During this time, Sarah worked full-time at Everys while completing the Level 3 Cilex Diploma in Law and Practice, with freehold conveyancing as her specialist unit.
Working in a fast-paced team, Sarah thrives when working with time-sensitive matters, using a pragmatic and efficient approach to ensure the best results for her clients to help achieve their goals.
Clare is a Solicitor in the Residential Property team based in Sidmouth. She joined Everys in June 2020 from a Kent firm, relocating to be closer to family in Devon.

Clare won an award at a previous firm for client care and is a conscientious lawyer who enjoys assisting clients through the conveyancing process to the reward of a completed transaction.
Clare has acted for a variety of clients, from first-time buyers to buy-to-let investors and property developers and takes pride in offering an efficient and friendly service to all.
Following her move to Devon, Clare is excited to discover the delights of her new local area. Outside of the office, Clare enjoys being beside the seaside, walks in the country, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the world by cruise ship.
Charlotte Pickford is an Associate in the Conveyancing department and is based at our Exmouth office. Charlotte has over 12 years’ experience in residential property and qualified as a Fellow of CILEX in 2012.
Charlotte advises on all matters of residential property including sales, purchases, remortgages and Transfers of Equity. She also deals with new build properties and the Help to Buy scheme.
Charlotte is an Exmouth local, having been born there, and she is well-known by the local estate agents.
John Dobie is an experienced solicitor with over 40 years’ practice in residential property work. Based out of our Exmouth office, John continues to specialise in residential property and is also responsible for residential and commercial property file audits and reviews throughout the firm.
Prior to joining Everys, John was a senior partner with a large regional firm based in Exeter for many years. He was also Head of the firm’s Residential Property Department and ran one of its branch offices before relocating to their Head Office in Exeter.
John acts for clients from many parts of the country as well as Devon. He has enjoyed a close working relationship with Everys since working in East Devon in the late 1980’s.
Rachel Craddy is an Associate Solicitor in the Conveyancing Department based in Honiton. With over 13 years’ experience, Rachel has vast practical knowledge of all aspects of conveyancing and has advised on:
- Residential conveyancing
- Rectifying deeds
- Restrictive covenants
- Development plots
- Deeds of Grant
- Transfers of parts
- Unregistered land
- Leasehold enfranchisement
- Right to buy / social housing
Rachel’s experience includes:
- Acting for clients acquiring a site for residential development, then drafting and dealing with the subsequent individual plot sales and management company set up for the communal areas.
- Acting in the surrender and re-grant of residential leases from a resident-owned management company, including re-drawing plans to reflect the individual demised premises, negotiating service charge proportions and maintenance responsibilities.
- Drafting deeds to assist in the grant, release or variation of easements e.g. rights of way, and covenants (restrictions on use of a property).
- Lease extensions for both landlords and tenants on a consensual basis.
- Rural conveyancing including flying freeholds, septic tanks, conversions, listed buildings, S157 residency restrictions.
