About Fiona Hinds - Partner at Everys Solicitors
Fiona is a Partner in the Litigation team. Having spent most of her career with City firms in London, Fiona now lives and works from the heart of Somerset. She joined Everys in September 2025.
Fiona specialises in commercial dispute resolution and investigations. She has worked in many sectors, focussing particularly on civil fraud, financial services and sport. Her sound judgement and strategic advice help clients to achieve their objectives, whether through early dispute resolution or at trial and beyond. Clients value Fiona’s collaborative approach and commitment to their success.
Fiona has a wealth of experience advising on complex and urgent matters, including freezing, search and disclosure orders. She is adept at dealing with multi-faceted disputes, particularly where there are competing claims, parallel regulatory or criminal investigations and/or insolvency claims. Fiona regularly advises on breach of fiduciary duty and breach of trust claims.
Fiona also advises on investigations and reviews, acting for organisations implementing their own processes and those subject to external investigation. She provides independent representation for witnesses and participants.
Career highlights include:
- Advising on a major review of an Olympic National Governing Body into athlete welfare
- Advising an international payment services firm on a banking dispute, successfully restarting the flow of funds after business-critical account freezes
- Successfully recovering misappropriated funds and image rights for a former international and premiership football player
- Acting for a defendant to $1bn High Court proceedings, involving highly complex claims for injunctive, breach of trust and insolvency-based relief across multiple jurisdictions

- Advising on disputes regarding the sale, purchase and management of elite performance horses
