About Gemma Sparks - Partner at Everys Solicitors

Gemma Sparks joined Everys Solicitors as a Partner and CILEX Lawyer in July 2025, bringing over 15 years of specialist family law experience. Prior to joining Everys, Gemma was a Director and lawyer at a family law specialist firm from 2009 to 2024.

Gemma is based at our Exeter office but is flexible and happy to meet clients at any of our office locations and over Teams.

Gemma specialises in children and domestic abuse matters – in particular, complex cases involving significant allegations of abuse (including children), parental alienation and intractable contact disputes. She also prepares and advises on divorce and financial matters.

Her passion for family law is deeply personal, shaped by her upbringing within the care system. This unique background gives her a profound understanding of the emotional challenges faced by clients navigating family issues.

Known for her irrepressible positivity, boundless energy, and motivational leadership style, Gemma thrives on working collaboratively with clients and colleagues alike. Her empathetic approach and unwavering commitment inspire confidence and trust from those she represents.

While Gemma’s approach to family law is to work collaboratively wherever possible, she will not shy away from the court process if needed.
