About Jessica Sanders - Personal Tax Senior/Paralegal at Everys Solicitors

Jessica is a Personal Tax Senior/Paralegal in our Private Client Department and is based in our Exmouth office. She has been working in the Private Client Legal Sector since 2011 and joined us in May 2024.

Jessica has a duel role that comprises of the following elements:-

Personal Tax Senior

• Preparation, completion, and submission of personal, trust and estate tax returns
• Annual reviews and income tax repayment claims
• Capital gains tax (‘CGT’) calculations on the sale of shares and property
• Preparation and completion of personal property disposal CGT (PPDCGT) returns
• Dealing with the day-to-day tax compliance to include liaising with HM Revenue & Customs (‘HMRC’)
• Registration of trusts and estates with HMRC’s Trust Registration Service (TRS)

Paralegal

• Assisting Claire Agnew, Partner in the Private Client department
• Attending client meetings on all private client related legal matters
• Drafting of legal documents such as Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deeds etc.

Jessica is currently studying CILEx CPQ with the aspiration of qualifying as CILEx Lawyer in the future.
