Martin Justice joined Everys in 2012 and became Head of Private Client in 2016. His extensive experience includes Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and estate administration, succession and Inheritance Tax planning, Trusts and tax, and elderly clients and care fees. However, his main expertise is in inheritance tax and succession planning.

Martin’s approach is professional yet friendly and he is held in high regard by his clients who include high net worth individuals, landowners and farmers. Martin works closely with his clients’ other key advisers, such as accountants, financial advisers and land agents, in order to successfully achieve their objectives. His thorough understanding of his clients’ businesses, rural affairs and the issues specific to succession and tax planning for them, has meant that his clients regularly refer him to others in need of his services.

Martin qualified as a solicitor in 2000. He is a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the Law Society Probate Section, and the Devon and Somerset Law Society. He is also a trustee of the Abbeyfield (Honiton) Society which runs an Independent Living Home for people aged over 55 in Honiton.

"When I go to my appointments with Martin, I always feel I am meeting with a friend.".
