Personal Injury Lawyer – Exeter

Personal Injury Lawyer – Exeter

Our Litigation Department deals with a broad range of civil litigation work and currently comprises seven fee earners together with support staff.

We currently have a vacancy for a personal injury and clinical negligence lawyer, able to run MOJ Portal and FastTrack cases, Intermediate Track cases with minimal supervision, and assist a partner on larger Multi Track Cases, including ones involving life-changing injuries.

The successful candidate will have about 3 to 5 years personal injury/clinical negligence experience in total, and could be a very experienced paralegal, a CILEX, or a solicitor.  We would be willing to consider those with a greater level of experience and qualification, particularly if they have experience in areas of litigation other than personal injury/clinical negligence and/or have a good track record in business development and/or a client following.

We will consider both full-time and part-time applications. You must be able to work in the office (Exeter) most of your week, although an element of hybrid working is available once you have passed your probation.

Involvement in the firm’s marketing and business development plan, and attending networking and social events, is an important part of the job, as is the ability to have and follow through ideas for actively developing new sources of personal injury work.

We offer a good benefits package, and the post will provide excellent career prospects for the successful candidate.

The firm has been rapidly expanding in recent years, with a merger in 2022, our new Tiverton office opening in January 2024, and several new partner promotions and lateral hires.  In June 2023 we won the DASLS Law Firm of the Year award (£3M+ turnover), and in June 2024 our Managing Partner, James Griffin, won DASLS Leader of the Year Award.  There is a real “feel good factor” and staff say they really enjoy working here.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our great team and future, working in a professional and friendly atmosphere offering a competitive salary.  If you are looking for a new challenge, please send your CV to jo.garrod@everys.co.uk.
