About Claudia Bennett - Solicitor at Everys Solicitors

Claudia joined Everys in April 2024 as a Solicitor working within the Tiverton Family team. She studied at City University of London Law School, combined with CILEx. Following this, she completed the LPC with Masters at Exeter University in 2023 and was also awarded her CILEx Fellowship. Claudia was admitted to the roll of solicitors in December 2023.

Claudia’s area of expertise and specialism is broadly Children Law. Claudia has experience working on matters involving children disputes, domestic abuse, divorce, and financial separation.  Claudia has represented several vulnerable clients who are victims of domestic abuse to include those who have been alleged of domestic abuse.

Prior to joining Everys, Claudia worked for the Local Authority for over eight years, undertaking public law children work.

Claudia’s approach to work is to ensure clients feel a sense of trust and satisfaction upon instructing her. She always strives to work with empathy and professionalism, to obtain the best outcome for her clients in a timely manner, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Client care is key in her daily approach as she recognises family issues can be highly sensitive and emotional, especially for vulnerable clients. Claudia enjoys the sense of achievement when helping and guiding clients to the outcome of resolving their disputes as amicably as possible.

Outside of Everys, Claudia is Non-Executive Director and Legal Lead for Avocados Impact. This is an independent rights advice service and community dedicated to supporting care-experienced individuals in Devon.

In Claudia’s spare time, she enjoys walking, especially with her family dog, cooking, and socialising with loved ones.
