About Joanne Butler - Partner at Everys Solicitors

Joanne is a partner in the Family Team and qualified as a solicitor in 1992. She joined Everys in November 2022 when Everys and Stokes Partners merged practices; she had been with Stokes since 1999 having previously worked in Berkshire. Joanne is based at our Tiverton office.

Jo advises on all aspects of family law but specialises in issues and disputes relating to children following relationship breakdown. Jo began her legal career as a legal adviser in the magistrates’ courts and has maintained the specialist advocacy skills honed during her time there. Jo brings to her clients a wealth of knowledge and a calm professional manner enabling her to manage the most complex and emotional of cases and achieve the most positive outcomes; in consequence, she is highly regarded by those she helps. Jo is an accredited specialist with Resolution.

When she’s not in the office Jo is a keen gardener and collects antiques and anything to do with maps!
